Public Bid Opening for Capital Project

The Fabius-Pompey Central School District is pleased to announce the successful completion of the public bid opening for its upcoming capital project. The district received a strong response from qualified contractors, and the submitted bids came in within budget, ensuring responsible use of taxpayer dollars.

The favorable bidding climate allows the district to move forward with the full scope of planned improvements, which include upgrades to classroom learning spaces, a greenhouse, gymnasium and stadium lighting upgrades, safety and security enhancements, infrastructure repairs, and site work to improve traffic flow and accessibility.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2025, with the district working closely with contractors to ensure minimal disruption to student learning and daily operations. Superintendent Dr. Lloyd L. Peck expressed appreciation for the community’s continued support and emphasized the district’s commitment to transparency and fiscal responsibility throughout the process.
