Summer School:  
Summer School registration will be by phone this year on Thursday, June 27, from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm.  Information will be mailed home on June 24, to those students that should attend.  Summer School is at Wellwood Middle School, with the first day of classes starting on July 10, 2019.  Please see the links to the right for the summer school calendar, August Regents schedule and bus times.

Remind App
Contact the Counseling Office for instructions on how to sign up for “Remind”.  Remind is a new app the Counseling Office will be using to remind parents/students of events, deadlines, etc.  Information was mailed home to Seniors and Juniors, and will be forthcoming for other grades.

The Office of Admissions at the University of Rochester offers Pre-College Programs for high school students to explore the University and its resources.  There are a wide range of options, including one-week non-credit courses, summer courses while living on campus, and semester-long credit-bearing courses.

Ithaca College
Ithaca offers one week (June 23 – 28, 2019) and three week sessions (June 30 – July 19) to high school students, including topics on Digital Music, Game Design, Health Sciences, and STEM Institute Undergraduate Research, and many more.

SUNY Cortland
SUNY Cortland has developed two summer academic programs for area youth to learn, create, and explore.  Both opportunities are being held the week of July 8 – 12 at SUNY Cortland.
Summer Art Workshop:  Led by SUNY Cortland’s Art and Art History faculty, this week-long session is ideal for current students in grades 8 through 12 with a passion for art and creativity.  Students will explore Animation, Fiber/Mixed Media, and Light-Sensitive Processes.
Data Dragons:  Led by SUNY Cortland’s faculty, this week-long session is ideal for current students in grades 6 through 8 with a passion for data and analysis.  Students will discover how data is everywhere through this activity based program.

Clarkson University

Le Moyne Summer Classes
For many years, Le Moyne College has welcomed area students completing their sophomore or junior year of high school the opportunity to participate in the SUMMER SCHOLAR PROGRAM.  The requirements for the Summer Scholar Program are a minimum GPA of 87, and a PSAT or SAT score of at least 1000, or ACT score of 22. RIT Summer Program
RIT’s 29th annual College & Careers summer program is an exciting opportunity for juniors to explore academic and career options working with RIT students and faculty.  College & Careers is a two-day program which begins on Friday and concludes midafternoon the following day.  This program is offered two weekends this summer – July 19-20 and August 2-3, 2019.  Students can register online at  .

SUNY Upstate Medical University (Syracuse, NY) will be hosting Summer Information Sessions for Medical Imaging Sciences & Radiation Therapy, Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant.  It's an opportunity for prospective students to learn about the careers, their degree programs along with admissions requirements and the application process.

Pine Grove Middle School
Pine Grove Middle School is offering programs to help students with the “Summer Slide”.

Launch sail is an academically-based summer program geared to maintain and develop educational skills over the summer.
Launch level-up is focused on meeting the unique needs of middle school students in order to facilitate a smooth transition to high school.

Marist College
Marist College is offering Summer Pre-College opportunities.  Marist Summer Pre-College is an academic program for rising high school juniors and seniors.  Students will earn three to six transferrable college credits and will learn from experienced faculty and industry professional, all while spending part of their summer in the heart of the historic Hudson River.
Session 1:  June 30 – July 13 Business, Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Film and TV Production, Pre-Health, Psychology, Sports Communication.

Cazenovia College Summer Experience will be held July 8 – 19, 2019.  You can earn three college credits.  The Cazenovia College Summer Experience will provide high school students with a wonderful opportunity to engage in college-level courses with highly individualized instruction by Cazenovia College faculty.  Course offerings:  Introduction to Psychology, Methods of Field Ecology, Inspired by Fashion, Studio Art Portfolio, T-Shirt Design, Exploring Archaeology, Introduction to Hospitality Management, Criminal Investigations.  Contact:
