Volunteer Program Information
Barbara McKenney, Volunteer Coordinator
A huge thank you goes out to the thirty-plus volunteers who participated in the twelfth annual Career Fair for our 11th grade students. They did an incredible job of explaining their career choices, educational requirements and job prospects for their chosen careers. The students heard about careers in the military, the restaurant business, small businesses, the legal profession, professional sports, the arts, music, education, engineering, health care, law enforcement and other fields. Thanks again for sharing your time, energy and expertise with our students!
If you love your career/job, please consider volunteering for one or both of next year’s Career Fairs or our Middle School Career Fair this May. We are always looking for new career paths to share with our students and can always use more of the tried-and-true professions, such as engineering, health care, law practice and law enforcement. It’s nice to introduce our students to different perspectives of the same career.
Thanks to all of you who chaperoned our fun, festive holiday field trips this month!
If you are coming into your child’s classroom and you don’t have a name tag, please contact me and I will get you one.
