DIRECTOR OF CURRICULUM. The Director of Curriculum provides district-wide leadership in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning. This role advances the goals of the Fabius-Pompey CSD Strategic Plan and integrates the New York State Blue Ribbon Commission on Graduation Measures’ recommendations.The individual in this position supports teaching and learning through curriculum alignment, data-driven instruction, professional development, and innovation in instructional practices, ensuring equitable opportunities and multiple pathways for student success. The Director collaborates with administrators, faculty, the Board of Education and community partners to advance district goals; oversee the evaluation and continuous improvement of instructional programs; provide coaching, supervision and support for staff growth; and offer forward-looking recommendations for future initiatives to anticipate emerging needs and opportunities.
