The state recommends 4th graders read 25 books during the school year!
Complete homework each night.
Practice spelling and addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts.
Things Parents Can Do To Help
Make sure homework is completed and packed.
Quiz your child on spelling words and math facts.
Study for tests with your child. A great idea is to have your child make flash cards from the study guides. Have them do the writing! Writing things helps put them into memory.
Encourage independence with problem solving!
