Mrs. Winiecki's Class 2018-2019
Things We’ll Be Working On In May
New York State Science Test Review
Revolutionary War and the War of 1812
Historical fiction and nonfiction
If you have the Internet at home, please help your child find online videos called “Liberty’s Kids”. You can find them free on youtube. If you try through other sites, they charge $1.99 per episode. We will be watching a few episodes in class, but we don’t have time to view all of them. They are great stories, that the kids love and it will really help them to visualize and understand the Revolutionary War.
As the better weather approaches, there are more demands on everyone’s time. Please continue to encourage your child to read each night!! It doesn’t have to be formal. Taking a book to bed is just fine! Daily reading is the best way to become a better reader!
