ESF Distance Learning Plan
ESF - Please look at the bottom ("Links") part of THIS home page. (Ensemble Videos).Beal's Videos are all listed there.
There are A LOT of them!
The college has suggested that as a resource, as well, so we are on track with the expectations of SUNY/ESF.
What we will do is this:
Pick any video.
Pick ones that look interesting to you (choose which 'rabbit hole' you want to go down.)
Many videos have multiple parts (such as EROI, Part 1, etc) - Treat all the 'parts' as one subject.
When you watch a video, note the subject of the video, and create a Google Doc with that name.
Inside the document (at the top) provide the direct link(s) to the video(s).
Write a few takeaways (say three important points) that you got from the video.
Share with EVERYONE in the class, including me!
Then, when you receive the shared doc, go to a video that someone else commented on.
Watch the video and add 3 things yourself (either responding to your classmates comment, or observations of your own.)
We may have a few docs open at the same time. That's a little chaotic, but I think it will work.
Choose 2-3 NEW ones a week (open a new doc for each) - and respond to all open docs by the end of week (Make sure you re-share when you do.)
This will give some flexibility, but still generate a cooperative and collaborative experience about our course.
Sound good?
I'll send an email to all to read this page.
